Graduating FIT and diving head first into the high-fashion editorial world, Lauren saw first hand the fast-fashion waste polluting the ubiquitous wear-once clothing economy we have unfortunately found ourselves mired in. Recognizing that there is no shortage of clothes, just a shortage of connections between people and clothes they can love forever, Lauren felt called to start Vakker, a business that began as long cold days sourcing pieces around the greater NYC area selecting only the best, most fashionable pieces destined to be something more.

Lauren brings to Vakker over a decade of styling experience, curating each and every highly unique, hand-selected piece available on this site.
